Verto goes on show

16 April 2018

The first glimpse inside apartments at Reading’s tallest residential building was given to journalists last week.

Developer CNM Estates, with the help of agents Haslams and Savills, launched Verto, an 18-storey building of 103 flats on the site of the former King’s Point building in King’s Road.

The hi-spec apartments, starting at £262,250, will have a lavish lobby area and concierge service. Bathrooms will have underfloor heating and one feature, rarely seen in Reading, is that of roof gardens at some of the properties.

Alastair Young, Sales and Marketing Director at CNM Estates, said: “This is a landmark project for Reading and promises to rejuvenate the surrounding area. The apartments are of an exceptionally high-quality with stunning views over the historical town.”

Mike Shearn, head of new homes at Haslams, said: “We’ve already had significant interest in Verto from a mixture of buyers. With luxurious specification and the commuting rejuvenation provided by Crossrail, each apartment provides excellent investment potential. Crossrail will also open up Reading to a large number of workers from the City and Canary Wharf who might not have considered the area as an easily accessible base previously.”
